Namesake[]
As the weapon was designed to be strictly a high-powered sniper rifle, it was named after Damien-A263, the best sniper of the SPARTAN-III Program, and the most skilled SPARTAN-III marksman aside from Damien, Matthew-A137.
Uses[]
The 137-263, more commonly known as the "Skullcracker", was designed for use as a long-range sniper rifle.
